Out of town youth football competitions are an outstanding end-of season treat for a lot of youth soccer teams. Pop Warner, AYF and other organisations have regional and national title applications which are the aim of many youth football coaches in those leagues.
When I played youth soccer, our team traveled to Vegas, Kansas City, Nashville and Atlanta to play in events. It was a wonderful method to find out how we stacked up to competitors outside Nebraska. What are these tournaments like and as a youth soccer coach should my teams perform in a single? Coaching youth football means having a lot of impact on deciding to have these matches or maybe not.
You'll find more independent youth soccer organizations than Take Warner and AFL joined and the independents play in different youth football tournaments through the USA. The tournaments vary in size as well as quality as does anything in life. Where we played had a lot to do with how much money we had available, as traveling costs plenty of cash. Back when I performed, we sold raffles and would go out in teams on Friday and Saturday evenings to local bars and bowling alleys to sell seats. Each participant had a quota to sell along with the coaches got supporters too, again a different age, different rules. But naturally there were no accommodation or food expenses in the past as a result of players staying with host families, so we did not have to raise as much money.
My personal teams have not had the opportunity to really perform in the big Florida Thanksgiving tournaments according to a few factors, one being cash. The other is daylight savings time hits the first week in Nov or so-and that means it gets dark around at 5:30. We've never had a practice area with lights and we usually see very chilly temperatures and also snow at that time of the year Website.
