Laminate flooring has four main components which can be bonded together. First, a durable, ornamental surface made from resin-based melamine/aluminum oxide is mounted to your moisture-resistant wood core. A support is then included with the cores bottom part. On top is an aluminum oxide layer, providing spot resistance.
