The initial beach is called Guacimeta. This 1,050m stretch of beach of toasted s-and and calm waters is very extraordinary as shores go, except that its a bit too near to the airport for my taste. Parking was good and it could be reached via guaguas (autobus). You will find Shops, Bar/Restaurants, Public telephones and a pleasing party therefore its none the less a beach worth a visit.

The 2nd beach is in-a area beside the airport and the Guacimeta beach and is called Playa Honda. At 1,900m.long and 85m wide it's the largest of this type and includes medium grained calm waters and golden sand making it beliefs for people and making good conditions for windsurfing. It's about 5 minutes drive from the airport, so the noise from aircraft won't spoil your fun and its easy to park.

We call it our Last Day beach!!

Have you got to be from your hotel early??

Have you been on the late afternoon or evening flight??

Are you to do something with the kids without them getting too upset about the last time??

Are you stressed at the idea of spending hours at the airport before you travel home??

Then, believe me when I say, this beach and Playa Honda typically is a superb place to visit en-route home.

Listed below are my views of it :

* The Beach is excellent ;

* The entire section of Playa Honda isn't directly geared toward us travelers, so you keep Lanzarote having experienced the side of it ;

* You can find a fantastic choice of restaurants across the beach-front providing old-fashioned Spanish Tapas and the Spanish Omelette into die for. There is other quality canarian food available together with things for your kiddies (when they the type) ; and

* It's a range of other shops on hand to keep you well busy (duty free items, presents an such like). If you are concerned with English, you will certainly want to research about click.

Finally, we have Manhunter Concha, 250m Long and 10m broad, Fine golden s-and, and calm waters.

On the outskirts of the capaital, Arrecife Manhunter Concha beach is close to the development of the same name just. Great parking again and accessible via guaguas (autobus) and a little promenade of stores and bar/restaurants.
